The training combines evidence-informed practice and professional expertise, alongside neurodivergent lived-experience, offering resources and strategies you can use immediately to create calmer, more inclusive learning environments and experiences.

I’ve spent twenty years in classrooms teaching, observing, advising, across specialist and mainstream provision, from two-year-olds to post-16. I’m a recognised Specialist Leader in Education, and I’ve trained thousands of educators across the UK and beyond.

I’m also neurodivergent. I know what it’s like to have your needs go unmet, and what the impact can be on wellbeing and achievement. It’s shaped how I work as much as the years in classrooms have.

Advising in schools across London taught me what teachers actually need. So I built it: an easy-to-use training and resource database, made from what practical support really looks like on the ground.

Before You Respond: Behind the Behaviour

Here’s something the years in classrooms have taught me: behaviour was never the problem. It’s the message.

The ‘meltdown’ that came from nowhere. The refusal that looked like defiance. The shutdown mid-lesson nobody can quite explain. You’re still thinking about it later, asking what happened, what you missed.

I’ve created a free classroom guide for that moment. A four-step tool to slow down, look at what actually happened, and work back to the need underneath it. This could be sensory, communication, regulation, connection, or one of a handful of others. Then a practical, do-it-tomorrow place to start.

Name it exactly as it is. Rewind ten minutes. Determine the unmet need. Find your strategy.

Use it once the moment has passed, when there’s space to think. Or bring it to a team meeting, working through a pattern with the people who saw the same thing you did.
